In recent weeks, I have reflected on how to make my artwork more visible online. The result is a Social Media Plan with one clear purpose: to expand the international reach of my art and connect with a wider audience.
My artistic journey, described in the About Me section of this website, shows how each stage has added new layers to my work. Today, the same approach guides my digital strategy.
I designed this plan as I would approach a painting: layer by layer, decision by decision. The key step was choosing the right platforms:
- Instagram for immediacy and visual impact, engaging collectors and contemporary art lovers.
- LinkedIn as a space for reflection, aimed at institutions, curators, and cultural professionals.
With this foundation, I set three goals for the next six months:
- Grow a qualified audience
- Improve engagement rate
- Increase visits to my art website
The first results are promising: greater international visibility, steady community growth, and new professional connections. Yet there is room for improvement. I plan to publish more consistently, explore formats such as carousels and process videos, and share richer storytelling on LinkedIn.
For me, this plan has been as enriching as creating a painting. It reminded me that art today does not live only in the studio or gallery. It also resonates in the digital space, where new audiences and opportunities emerge.
👉 I’d love to hear your thoughts: should artists dedicate more space to digital strategy in their creative work?
